Timber repairs Mount Gravatt

Timber repair work in Mount Gravatt

Mount Gravatt sits below the mountain of the same name on Brisbane's southside, a suburb of postwar timber and fibro homes, many now renovated or raised.

Postwar weatherboard and fibro homes in Mount Gravatt often have termite or rot damage in floor framing, window sills and the bottom row of weatherboards.

On sloping blocks in Mount Gravatt, the high side of the house often has timber closer to damp ground, which raises the risk of rot and termites in floor framing.
